KLP® Grab Rails are specially developed as an additional safety feature in urban hydraulic engineering. They enable people, including children, to grab onto a quay wall after falling into the water. Thanks to their smart design and strategic placement, they enhance safety in public spaces.

KLP® Grab Rails are lightweight and therefore easy to handle on site. They can be easily cut and drilled, enabling quick and practical installation. The rails are supplied in lengths of 150 cm and can be divided into segments of 38 cm per grab rail. Thanks to the integrated brick profile, they fit seamlessly into the masonry. Installation is done using stainless steel anchor pins. A expansion joint is necessary to allow for plastic expansion; for a neat finish, the application of a sealant joint is recommended. This makes the grab rails practical to use in various projects, from new quay walls to restoration work.
KLP® Grab Rails contribute to a safe public space. Whether it’s new construction or restoration, this sustainable solution makes the waterfront safer for everyone. Our experts are happy to assist you in finding the best application for your project.
